Girls Rock Bloomington Music Lab is a series of four workshops for girls, trans and non-binary youth ages 8-14. Join us Wednesdays after school Oct 19 - Nov 9 at the FAR Center for Contemporary Arts. Individual workshops are $25, but if you purchase all 4 workshops together, you get a discounted rate of $20/ per workshop for a total of $80 for the entire Music Lab Series!


1. Instrument Sampler Workshop

Wednesday October 19th 4:30 - 6:00 pm
Explore drums, bass, guitar, keyboards and vocal mics- all set up and ready for you to play! No experience is necessary.

2. Songwriting Workshop

Wednesday October 26th 4:30 - 6:00 pm
Dig into the basics of songwriting in a collaborative, supportive environment. We'll work on a group song together, and have a chance to share any ideas you're currently working on!

3. Make Your Own Radio Show Workshop

Wednesday November 2nd 4:30 - 6:00 pm
Each participant will get the chance to record and curate their own radio show to be aired on WFHB's Youth Radio!

4. Merch Making Workshop

Wednesday November 9th 4:30 - 6:00 pm
Make your own buttons, learn how to screen print and create album art or a band logo! Supplies are provided.
