Our children’s programming aims to provide opportunities for kids to engage with fine art and to respond to it through their favorite creative tools and techniques. We also hope to find ways to encourage curiosity and exploration of a variety of art forms through workshops, crafts and even children’s exhibits, all free to the public!
Kids Programming
Pictura Kids is a free, monthly art education series for kids in collaboration with the current exhibition in Pictura Gallery. Our goal is to make contemporary photography more accessible to a young audience by giving them time and space with the work, teaching them about the exhibiting artist and giving them a chance to respond to the work through conversation and guided art projects.
Pictura Kids workshops occur every first Saturday at 11am following a Gallery Walk First Friday and are ideal for ages 6+ or 4+ with a caregiver. Registration is required. See our calendar or upcoming kids programming list on the right to register.
