Since 2005 Krista Detor has produced a holiday concert to benefit not-for-profit groups. This year she year she has chosen South Central Community Action Program. SCCAP is based in Bloomington, Ind. and has served low-income people for more than 50 years. Our mission is to provide opportunities for low-income individuals and families to achieve personal and economic independence. Programs include Head Start and Growing Opportunities in Monroe County, Thriving Connections, which provides support by making the personal and community connections that are important for successful life change; and also operates the Energy Assistance, Weatherization, Health Insurance Enrollment, Individual Development Account and Section 8 programs in Monroe, Morgan, Owen and Brown counties. It serves more than 4,000 families annually, representing more than 9,000 individuals.

Doors open to this general admission event at 6:30pm. The anticipated length of the event is 2 hours.

Will Call. Prior to the day of the concert Will-Call is available at the BCT Box Office at 114 E Kirkwood Ave (open Mon – Fri 11am – 6pm, Sat & Sun noon – 5pm). On the day of the concert Will-Call can be collected at the door to the event starting at 6:30.
